Do I need to bring a model?

Yes! It is far easier to work on a friend than a stranger! Please note that you will need to ask your model to arrive at 2.30pm.
 

If you cannot find a model, please email us at info@londonlashpro.com at least 2 weeks before the training and we will find a model for you. This service costs £80, as models are paid for their time. 

If your model cancels last minute, or if you do not provide us with adequate time to source a model on your behalf, your course may not be refundable so please ensure you come prepared with your model for your training date.
 

Requirements for your model 

Please make sure that your model had their lashes done in the past and didn't experience an allergic reaction or irritation. If they have never had the treatment done before, please book an appointment for a patch test at any local beauty salon which provides eyelash extensions treatments (the patch test needs to be done at least 24 hours prior to the course).

Alternatively, you can get in touch with our customer service and book an appointment for a patch test in our Academy. Please note we are normally open 9am till 5.30pm Monday-Friday.  

In order to receive your certificate you'll need to carry on practicing at home and send us 3 successful case studies on live models (photos of each of your models' extensions - case studies will be explained in more detail on the course). Once you have passed your case studies, you will be invited back for an exam. After successful completion of all case studies and the exam, you will be awarded with an accredited certificate.

How does the exam work?

The exam has two components - theory and practical. You'll need to bring your model with you, as well as your tweezers.

Your theory exam is comprised of a series of multiple choice questions. These are to be completed before the practical section and without the use of your training manual. All of the questions are covered on the day of your course and in your manual, so don't forget to study!

The practical part of the course is to simply apply a set of lashes for your model, which will be reviewed by your trainer. You should aim for a full set, but remember that quality is far more important than quality.

If, for whatever reason, you are struggling to complete the eyelash treatment, or you fail to pass the theory test, feel free to practice at home for as long as you need and come back to us at any time to demonstrate your knowledge and skill and get your certificate. You will have the support of your trainer during this time if you need advice.

How long is the Course?
 

The course starts at 9.30am and finishes around 6pm. A lunch break is included in the running of the day.
 

Do I need to bring lunch/snacks?
 

You're more than welcome to, however lunch will be provided for you.

The provided lunch consists of cold sandwiches, snacks, fruit, tea and coffee.

After you have purchased your place on the course, you will receive an 'application' form via which you can let us know of any dietary requirements that you may have.

When completing the registration form, please remember to mention any particular food preferences and we will do our best to accommodate. 

Do I need to buy a kit?
 

The price of the course includes our Medium Eyelash Extension kit which is worth over £226! The products inside will last you for at least 20 customers, with some products lasting even longer. The kit includes all the essentials needed to perform the treatment:
