Like so many other lash-related questions, this one is answered with an “it depends”. Luckily for you, we’re here to narrow down some of the options so that you can choose the best products for Hybrid Lash Extensions, without feeling overwhelmed by the wide range of professional lash supplies available on the market.

Let’s start with eyelash extensions. Choosing which lashes to use for Hybrid lashes depends on the look your client wants to achieve, but generally speaking, Classic lash extensions should complement the Volume lash fans so they blend seamlessly, without a noticeable contrast between the two techniques.
Most clients choose Hybrid lash extensions when they want extra volume and texture without going too dramatic. Our Volume lash extensions range includes 0.06, 0.07 and 0.10. lashes, which are ideal for creating soft, fluffy fans.
We recommend opting for 0.07 Volume lashes, as they allow you to create fans up to 5D, making them extremely versatile for Hybrid lash sets. Whether you choose Mayfair Lashes or Chelsea Lashes comes down to your client’s preferred finish — Mayfair lashes are darker, shinier and bolder, while Chelsea lashes offer a more matte, natural-looking finish that’s perfect for softer Hybrid styles.
Available in 0.10, 0.12, 0.15, 0.18, 0.20 thicknesses, our Classic lash extensions collection gives you plenty of flexibility. Keep in mind that the thicker the lash, the more weight it holds.
For most Hybrid lash sets, 0.15 Classic lashes are the perfect pairing with 0.07 Volume fans. On their own, they create a beautiful mascara lash effect, and when combined with 3D Volume fans, they offer a perfectly balanced Hybrid look.
If you’re creating larger fans, such as 5D Hybrid lashes, you may want to consider using 0.20 Flat Lashes to maintain structure without adding unnecessary weight.
Top Tip:
For a more wispy Hybrid lash set, use Classic lashes that are 2mm longer than the Volume fans throughout your set.

You can absolutely use your regular lash extension glue for Hybrid lash sets. All London Lash Glues are suitable for Classic lashes, Volume lashes, and Hybrid lash extensions, making them a reliable choice for professional Lash Technicians.
One thing to keep in mind is your working speed. Many Lash Artists apply Classic lashes faster than Volume fans, so it can be useful to have two lash glues available — one that dries slightly slower and one that cures faster. This is especially helpful if your room temperature and humidity fluctuate.
If your speed difference is minimal, you can simply hold the fan slightly longer, or reapply Booster or Primer to speed up adhesion. Just be cautious not to cause shock polymerisation on surrounding lashes.

Hybrid lash extensions often require multiple pairs of lash tweezers. Unlike Classic-only or Volume-only sets, you may need up to three tweezers during a Hybrid application.
If you want to keep your Lash Tweezer Collection minimal, Multifunctional Tweezers are ideal for isolating natural lashes and creating fans up to 3D. For larger Volume fans, a dedicated pair of Volume Lash Tweezers is essential — the Regular Tip Volume Lash Tweezers are a firm favourite among professional Lash Artists.

If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution, our Classic and Volume Combination Lash Kit is perfect for creating Hybrid lash extensions. It includes everything you need to master Hybrid sets and provides a great introduction to the London Lash professional product range in one easy step.
