Introducing the Camellia Easy Fanning Lashes

Easy Fanning Lashes have graced our shelves for a while now, but now we’ve launched our brand new Camellia collection of the lash extensions that keep on giving. So we thought it was a good time to revisit everything that’s great about easy fanning lashes in general, whilst introducing you to our new Camellia eyelashes.

How Do Easy Fanning Lashes Work?

Easy fanning volume lashes are named such because they form volume fans really easily. This isn’t due to the type of fibre used - they’re made from the same hypoallergenic synthetic fibre that all of our other Eyelash Extensions are made from - but due to how they are laid on the strip.

If you take a standard strip of eyelash extensions there will only be one layer of lashes on the strip lined up next to one another - this means that you can take one lash or make a fan of up to 25D (or more if you're feeling spicy), depending on the thickness of the lashes you’re using by taking the lashes you want off of the strip and creating fans using any method you like best. For mega volume, you should always use a pair of Mega Volume Tweezers for best results.

With easy fanning lashes, there are multiple layers of lashes on each strip, which means that when you grab them with your tweezers they pop open into fluffy little fans effortlessly. By nature, easy fanning volume lashes create quite dense, narrow fans - by placing them back on the strip and giving them a little wiggle with your tweezers you’re able to create wider fans, if you prefer.

How Do They Create Wispy Looks So Easily?

London Lash Camellia lashes have two lengths on each strip which have a difference of 2mm (8mm and 10mm on the same strip, for example) so that when they’re fanned, they’re already wispy, giving you an effortlessly spiky finish.

Just like with any lashes, you can make the top line more or less wispy by playing with how you attach different lengths to different layers, though of course with these having two lengths you’ll naturally have more density closer to the roots of the lashes than you will at the top.

How Do You Map With Camellia Easy Fanning Lashes?

The best thing to do is to pick the shortest length and map from there so you know you’re not overloading the eyelashes where length is concerned.

Now, onto top lines - by applying the same length to each layer in any given section of your lash map you’ll get quite a natural texture in the top line coupled with that density in the lash line. If you’re looking for a more even top line, drop down a millimetre as you go up a layer, and if you’re in the mood for something very textured and wispy, go up a millimetre as you go up a layer. However you work with the layer of the lashes, you’ll end up with a wispier top line and some density on the bottom, so still a bit of a difference to your standard volume lashes.

Do Easy Fanning Lashes Really Make Your Work Faster?

Easy Fanning Lashes help to speed up your volume lash sets because you don’t have to put so much time into making handmade fans or creating texture yourself - they do it for you. It’s true that you can manipulate them a little bit to make them wider if you want to, and you still have to try and make sure you’re not taking too many lashes, so they don’t speed up your lash sets quite as much as using Premade Volume Fans but they do make a big difference in the time it takes to finish a full set of volume lashes with them.

All in all, Easy Fanning Lashes are a time-saving, texturising revolution in volume lash sets - try them once and fall in love with them, they will quickly become a staple of your eyelash extension kit!
