Kylie Lashes: A Perfect Blend of Spiky Kim K Style and Fluttery Angel Lashes
From what we’re seeing on social media, natural lash looks are still a top choice for many clients. If you have clients who can’t decide between soft, natural lashes and something a bit more daring, Kylie Lashes are the perfect middle ground!
Let’s dive into how you can create the Kylie Lash look and which lashes will make your sets shine.
What Are Kylie Lashes?
Kylie Lashes combine the light, airy feel of Angel Lashes with the bold, fluffy look of Kim K Lashes, keeping the signature spikes. This style is perfect for clients who want to transition from a natural lash look to something a bit more dramatic (or vice versa) without going overboard.
How Do You Map Kylie Lashes?
Start by adding the spikes. While you can use premade spikes for a longer lash look, Kylie Lashes tend to be softer, so flat lashes or closed fans are ideal. We suggest using 0.07 lashes in 3D to create closed fans, but you can go finer for an even wispier effect.
Place spikes on the top and middle lash layers, then fill the bottom layer with regular fans. Choose the lash thickness based on your client’s preferences. For a fluffier finish, go for 3D or 4D in 0.07 with slightly wider fans. If you’re short on time, our Pre-made Lash Fans are a great option!
Remember, Kylie Lashes can be applied using any of the 4 main lash mapping styles to suit your client’s desired look—just because a style is popular doesn’t mean it should look the same on everyone!
Which Lashes Should You Use for Kylie Lashes?
For a softer, textured look, opt for thinner, lightweight spikes in 3D max. For extra fluff, don’t wet the tips when creating spikes—this keeps them slightly open for that fluffy effect.
Kylie Lashes are all about combining spikes with a dense, fluffy base layer. You can use regular volume lash extensions or Pre-made Lash Fans, but for even more texture and density along the lash line, Easy Fan Lashes are a fantastic choice!
And there you have it! Like any lash mapping style, you can experiment with different lash types and even colours to create looks that range from subtle and natural to bold and eye-catching. For a softer finish, try Black Brown Lashes, or if your client wants to stand out, add a few coloured spikes for a fun twist!
